HiDesertNEWS is building a modern local news platform focused on the information Morongo Basin residents use every day: breaking news, weather, traffic, gas prices, utility outages, community updates, missing pets, events, and local video coverage.

We are currently building the audience before opening full advertising inventory.

A limited number of local businesses may secure Founding Sponsor status during this early stage.

One Sponsor Per Industry

HiDesertNEWS offers category exclusivity.

That means we may accept:

• One automotive repair sponsor
• One dry-cleaning sponsor
• One insurance sponsor
• One HVAC sponsor
• One restaurant sponsor within an approved category
• One sponsor from other qualifying local industries

Once a business secures its category, competing businesses will not be offered the same sponsorship category while that agreement remains active.

Categories are not held through conversation alone. A category is secured only after approval, a signed agreement, and the initial payment.

Founding Sponsor Pricing

Businesses that support HiDesertNEWS during its launch period may qualify for special Founding Sponsor pricing.

Founding Sponsor pricing is limited and may close at any time.

We may decide to accept only a small number of initial sponsors. Once those positions are filled, future advertisers may be placed into higher sponsorship tiers at higher rates.

The businesses that join early receive the strongest pricing because they supported the platform before its full audience was established.

Twelve-Month Price Protection

Approved sponsorships are structured around a 12-month agreement with automatic recurring billing through PayPal.

Your agreement protects your approved sponsorship price for the duration of the term, provided the account remains active and payments remain current.

A sponsor may discontinue its sponsorship without an early-termination penalty. However:

• The exclusive category may immediately become available to another business.
• Founding Sponsor status may be forfeited.
• The previous rate will not be guaranteed if the business returns.
• Any future sponsorship will be offered at the rates and terms then available.

We do not invoice manually or chase overdue payments. Sponsorships must remain enrolled in automatic recurring billing.

More Than a Traditional Commercial

HiDesertNEWS sponsorship opportunities will not be limited to one standard advertisement format.

Depending on the business, sponsorship opportunities may include placement within:

• Weather updates
• Traffic reports
• Gas-price reports
• Utility and outage updates
• Community segments
• Individual social media reports
• HiDesertNEWS video programming
• Live or scheduled broadcasts
• Sponsored community features
• Branded segment openings and closings
• Other custom placements developed for the sponsor

The exact format will be determined during the sponsorship meeting.

Professional Production Standards

HiDesertNEWS is being built as a professional local media platform. Advertising presented through the network must meet the same visual and production standards as the news content surrounding it.

All advertisements, graphics, videos, audio, and sponsorship materials are subject to approval.

Low-quality, poorly recorded, or improvised advertisements will not be accepted simply because a business has purchased a sponsorship.

When new production is required, the advertiser may be referred to HiDesertNEWS or an approved professional production provider. Production services may involve a separate cost and agreement.

Maintaining a consistent standard protects the sponsor, the audience, and the credibility of HiDesertNEWS.

Sponsorships Begin With a Meeting

HiDesertNEWS does not currently offer instant online ad purchases.

Every sponsorship begins with a direct meeting to discuss:

• The business and its goals
• Available industry categories
• Appropriate sponsorship opportunities
• Creative and production requirements
• Founding Sponsor availability
• Pricing and payment terms
• The proposed launch schedule

Because sponsorship availability is extremely limited, meetings are reserved for businesses that are prepared to make a decision.

A consultation or reservation deposit may be required before an in-person meeting is scheduled. When applicable, the deposit will be credited toward an approved sponsorship.

Audience First

HiDesertNEWS is not rushing to fill the platform with advertisements.

We are first building useful local coverage and allowing the community to decide how quickly the network grows.

Advertising availability, rates, categories, and the total number of sponsors accepted may change as the audience develops.

There is no guaranteed deadline for Founding Sponsor enrollment. It may remain available for several weeks, or it may close after the first few approved businesses join.

Request a Sponsorship Meeting

Local businesses interested in becoming a Founding Sponsor may request a private sponsorship meeting.

Submitting a request does not guarantee approval, category availability, or Founding Sponsor pricing.

Sponsorship opportunities are limited. Industry categories are awarded on an approved first-commitment basis.
